Last year it was home rider Willem Greve that got to add his name to the stairs at Jumping Amsterdam as the winner of the Grand Prix. Greve is back for the 2016 edition, but will get stiff competition from riders such as Jeroen Dubbeldam (NED), Maikel van der Vleuten (NED), Jur Vrieling (NED), Jerome Guery (BEL), Roger Yves Bost (FRA), Marcus Ehning (GER), John Whitaker (GBR), Billy Twomey (IRL) and Abdelkebir Ouaddar (MOR).
