Billy Twomey was best in Saturday's feature class at the Sunshine Tour. The Irish rider took home the win in the CSI4* 1.45m small Grand Prix aboard the 13-year-old gelding Diaghilev (Vangelis S x Handstreich).

Twomey was one of 22 riders moving on to the jump-off, and was the fastest one of those staying clear yet again stopping the time on 36.63 seconds. Home rider Eduardo Álvarez Aznar and Fidux (Malito de Reve x Voltaire) got the closest to the winning time, and finished as runners-up in 37.28 seconds. Great Britain's Yazmin Pinchen riding Unesca (Cassini I x Lancier) took care of the third place with a time of 38.07 seconds in the jump-off.
