Daniel Deusser secured a home win in Sunday's Championat of Mannheim. Riding the 9-year-old Hildago VG (Quadrillo x Andiamo Z), the German rider produced one of five clear rounds to move on to the jump-off in this 1.55 class that counted 49 riders.

Three of the five that reached the jump-off went clear once again, with Belgium-based Deusser being by far the fastest one with a time of 37.67 seconds. Almost two seconds behind followed Swiss rider Niklaus Rutschi on the 13-year-old gelding Windsor XV (Karandasj x Wellington) while Alexander Schill, also representing Germany, finished third on Chass (Calato x Calando I).

Belgium's Constant van Paesschen took care of the fourth place after having four faults in the jump-off, while Italy's Emilio Bicocchi ended fifth with eight penalties against the clock.
