The 1.55m qualification for Monday's DKB-Riders Tour Grand Prix at CSI4* Wiesbaden was won by Douglas Lindelöw (SWE) and Zacramento (Cardento x Cortus). A total of 16 horse-and-rider combinations cleared the first round in the traditional Preis des Hessischen Ministerpräsidenten, and eleven of them repeated their clean sheets in the jump-off so it turned out to be a race against the clock.

Lindelöw finished the shortened course in 43.86 seconds, one second ahead of runner-up Daniel Deusser (GER) with Cassini Bay (Cassini I x Accord II).

Third place went to Denis Lynch (IRL) with Fairview Aliquidam (Alimo x unknown) that finished the jump-off in 45.23 seconds, ahead of Max Kühner (AUT) with Alfa Jordan (Air Jordan x Lancelot) and Christoph Brüse (GER) with Flying Wonder (For Pleasure x Colander).

"For Zacramento this was one of his first shows back after the World Cup Final, and after he jumped the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona after the European Championships last year and then the indoor season and the World Cup, a break was due," Lindelöw said. "I think Daniel and I had the same plan today, but I was a little bit faster," the young Swede smiled.

Earlier in the day Felix Hassmann (GER) won the 1,45m class riding SL Brazonado (SL Baluarte x Silvestre). Second place went to Billy Twomey (IRL) with Ardcolum Duke (Gypsy Duke x Clover Hill) ahead of Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) with Tiopepe des Champs (Ogrion des Champs x Echo des Forets II), Denis Lynch (IRL) with Caruso (Chacco-Blue x Graf Top) and Marcel Marschall (GER) with Jackpot VII (Ogano Sitte x Querlybet Hero).
