Felix Hassmann won the prestigious CSI3* ‘Golden Whip’ Grand Prix of Nörten-Hardenberg riding Balance (Balou du Rouet x Landadel) – and gave the German audience a home win.

Ten riders made it to the jump-off after clearing the first round of the 1.60m course. Six of them cleared the shortened course as well, and five of them were from Germany. Second place went to Simone Blum with DSP Alice (Askari x Landrebell) after finishing the jump-off course 1,5 second slower than Hassmann. Third placed Michael Hughes (USA) was the only rider that could break the German domination. Hughes rode the 13-year-old Zerlin M (Berlin x Concorde).

Laura Klaphake with Silverstone G (Diamant de Semilly x Vancouver) ended fourth ahead of Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum with Daisy (Excenel x Timeless) and Niklas Krieg with Ayers Rock (Acorado x Barbados).
