Francois José Mesquita Musa takes Saturday’s biggest win in Wiesbaden

Saturday’s 1.50m class at CSI4* Wiesbaden was won by Brazil’s Francois José Mesquita Musa riding Sharapova MCJ (Baloubet du Rouet x Welton Ambassador). The Brazilian rider ended the course in 64,87 seconds while runner-up Laura Kraut (USA) with Whitney (Indoctro x Concorde) needed 65,29 seconds to finish the course.

It was eight horse-and-rider combinations that cleared the course – out of 40 entries. Third place went to Denis Lynch (IRL) with Fairview Aliquidam (Alimo x unknown), while Felix Hassmann (GER) with SIG Captain America (Captain Fire x Collin L) ended fourth and Walter Gabathuler (SUI) with Silver Surfer 2 (Casall x Levisto) ended fifth.

Earlier in the day Billy Twomey (IRL) won the 1.45m class with Ardcolum Duke (Gypsy Duke x Clover Hill) ahead of Michael Jung (GER) with fischerChelsea (Check In x Argent), Laura Kraut (USA) with Curious George (Codex One x Dutch Capitol), Karina Johannpeter (BRA) with Lucero Ls La Silla (Dollar dela Pierre x Accord II) and Patrick Stühlmeyer (GER) with Varihoka Du Temple (Luigi d’Amaury x Kannan).
