Germany’s Hans-Dieter Dreher and the 14-year-old stallion Colore (Contender x Lord) won Thursday’s biggest class in Doha; the 1.50 speed competition. It was consistency all the way, as yesterday’s in-the-ribbons Gregory Wathelet and Oh d’Eole (Kannan x Papillon Rouge) finished as runners-up over a second behind the winning time.
Third place went to Luciana Diniz on Fit For Fun (For Pleasure x Fabriano), while Simon Delestre on Stardust Quinhon (Calvaro Z x Cabdula du Tillard) ended fourth. Fifth were Ludger Beerbaum and Chiara (Contender x Coronado).
Earlier in the day, Britain’s Laura Renwick won the 1.45 competition.
