To the delight of the home crowds, Irma Karlsson and Balahe (Baloubet du Rouet x Flamingo) kept the Swedish flag flying high when finishing as number one in Friday's CSI4* 1.45-class at Sweden International Horse Show in Stockholm.
This was the feature competition of the day, and it had 18 riders in it and half of them went double clear. Karlsson crossed the finish line of the jump-off in 32,55 seconds, slightly faster than runner-up Marlon Zanotelli (BRA) riding Rock'N Roll Semilly (Diamant de Semilly x Apache d'Adriers). Third place went to home rider Peder Fredricson with H&M All In (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Andiamo Z), fourth place to Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) with Cantinero (Cento x Cash), followed by Jur Vrieling (NED) and Robin Ingvarsson (SWE).
This was also the qualification for Sunday night's Sweden Masters, and the top six riders from this class are qualified.
