After winning Thursday's two biggest classes at Horses & Dreams in Hagen, Julien Epaillard took another victory on Saturday when he won the DKB-Riders Tour qualification riding Safari d'Auge. The 10-year-old French bred Diamant de Semilly-son was also Epaillard's winning partner in Thursday's feature class.

"The tour is really good for me," smiled the French rider after taking to the top in the 1.50 class that counted as a qualifier for tomorrows DKB Riders Tour Grand Prix. "I was a little lucky on the first jump, as we touched it," explained Epaillard. "Let's see how it all goes tomorrow."

Runner-up position went to Friday's Big Tour winner, the young German rider Guido Klatte Jr. this time with Qinghai (Quidam de Revel x Cordalme Z). Klatte Jr. was almost two seconds behind Epaillard in the jump-off. "I am reaaly happy. To be second here, with such a huge crowd watching, is something special," said Klatte Jr.

Australia's Chris Chugg, that spends the spring and summer at Guido Klatte's stable in Germany, took third place with the only 8-year-old Cristalline (Cristallo x Caretello B) that got massive attention after impressing at the 2016 Longines FEI World Cup Finals.

These three were the only double clears in the class where nine riders qualified for the jump-off out of 70 competitors.
