Italian rider Luca Moneta had a fabulous round in the most important class of the day at the Sunshine Tour to take the win in Friday's Big Tour D competition. The CSI3* 1.50 class was sponsored by the Ayuntamiento de Vejer and counted for the Longines Ranking. Riding the now 15-year-old Neptune Brecourt (Cumano x Kayack), Moneta stopped the clock in 68.20 seconds which proved unbeatable for the rest of the competitors.

New Zealand’s Bruce Goodin and Centina 10 (Cento x Argentinus) came closest finishing in 70.45 seconds, while British rider Guy Williams with Depardieu van’t Kiezelhof (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Latano) ended third with a time of 71.35 seconds.
