Millar Brooke Farm hiring experienced FEI groom

Friday, 30 November 2018

Millar Brooke Farm is hiring an experienced FEI groom (minimum 2 years FEI experience) to start December 2018. The home base of professional FEI riders Ian Millar, Amy Millar, Jonathon Millar and Kelly Soleau-Millar, as well as a number of top junior and amateur riders, Millar Brooke Farm is one of the most successful programs in show jumping history. Millar Brooke Farm has been represented at every Olympics since 1972, has coached over 30 Grand Prix riders, and had over 100 horses compete at the Grand Prix level over the years.

Located in picturesque Perth, Ontario (one hour outside Canada’s National Capital of Ottawa), Millar Brooke Farm is a world-class training facility with the requisite amenities to produce top jumping horses. Millar Brooke Farm staff work within ‘best practice’ guidelines, and we are proud to say that many of the staff we previously trained have gone on to obtain top positions throughout North America – a testament to the quality of our expertise.

Perks of the job include:

•Working alongside world-renowned grooms, riders, veterinarians, farriers and support staff.
•Traveling to top competitions such as Spruce Meadows (Calgary, AB) and the Winter Equestrian Festival (Wellington, FL) as well as many other prestigious shows throughout North America and potentially Europe

We are offering competitive wages for this position. Staff lodging and transportation are provided. If interested, please forward your resume and a brief summary (4-6 sentences) of your equestrian work experience to Kelly at [email protected]
