Saudi Arabia's Abdullah Al Sharbatly took two more wins in Gijon on Friday, in the 1.50 class presented by Casino de Asturias and in the 1.45 class presented by Vodafone. Riding Callahan (Contendro x For Pleasure) in the  biggest class, Al Sharbatly was 0.31 seconds faster in the second phase than Great Britain's Joe Clayton on Ingliston Twister (Tornado x Voltaire). Canada's Eric Lamaze was also in the money again at the Spanish event, taking the third place on Rosana de Park (Kannan).

The 1.45 win came on Quintus (Quick Star x Grannus).
