Beezie Madden and Breitling LS best against the clock in the STAWAG Prize

On Thursday the stormy clouds stayed away from the Soers show grounds as the CSIO5* jumping in Aachen continued to its third day. The STAWAG Prize, a 1.50m competition against the clock, went to Beezie Madden (USA) on the 11-year-old stallion Breitling LS (Quintero x Accord II) with a time of 66,01 seconds. Felix Hassmann (GER) on the 14-year-old stallion Balzaci (Balou du Rouet x Landadel) finished as the best home rider when taking the runner-up position with a time of 68,59 seconds, and the third place went to Laura Kraut (USA) on the 14-year-old mare Whitney (Indoctro x Concorde) with a time of 69,86 seconds.

Steve Guerdat (SUI) on the 9-year-old mare Ulysse des Fleets (Col Canto x Le Tot de Semilly) finished fourth in 70,44 seconds. Eduardo Menezes (BRA) on the 13-year-old mare Caruschka 2 (Caspar x Continue) produced another great round, placing fifth with a time of 70,56 seconds.

Earlier during the morning the Sparkassen Youngster Cup went to Philipp Weishaupt (GER) on the 8-year-old mare Call Me Eva (Chacco Blue x Stakkato), with a time of 60,29 seconds. Gregory Wathelet (BEL) on the 8-year-old gelding Sandero (Sandro Boy x Cassini I) placed second in 60,90 and Eric Lamaze (CAN) on the 8-year-old mare Jewel 8 (Kannan x Indoctro) took the third spot with a time of 62,48 seconds. Andreas Kreuzer (GER) on the 7-year-old gelding Figor (Zagreb x C-Indoctro) placed fourth with a time of 64,61, and Mario Stevens (GER) on the 8-year-old gelding Landano 17 (Lord Pezi x C-Indoctro) fifth with a time of 65,40 seconds.

Lars Volmer (GER) on the 10-year-old made Maja H (Contendro I x Lanciano) won the German U25 Trophy of the Stiftung Deutscher Spitzenpferdesport, Prize of Family Müter, with a time of 60,95 seconds. Vanessa Borgmann (GER) on the 11-year-old gelding Caspar IV (Cornet Obolensky x Diamantino) placed second with a time of 65,83, and Laura Klaphake (GER) on the 8-year-old mare Camalita (Cracker Jack x Quinar) placed third with a time of 67,28 seconds.
