CSIO5* Longines Jumping International de La Baule 2017

Sunday's CSIO5* Longines Grand Prix of La Baule was a real highlight, with Pedro Junqueira Muylaert taking a surprise win with Prince Royal Z MFS after a competition packed with action. All photos (c) Tiffany Van Halle.

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle The team from Haras des Coudrettes did not seem too disappointed with Patrice Delaveau and Aquila HDC's second place!

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle Maikel van der Vleuten and VDL Groep Arera C was one of two Dutch pairs in the jump-off, and took the third place after two clear rounds.

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle Henrik von Eckermann's Cantinero is back in top form, and ended fourth after jumping clear in both rounds.

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle France's own Cedric Angot and Saxo de la Cour were on the winning team in Friday's Nations Cup, and also made it to the jump-off in the Grand Prix eventually ending 7th.

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle Just a tiny time penalty stood in the way of the jump-off for Fabienne Daigneux-Lange after a fantastic first round.

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle Last year's winners of the Grand Prix, Jerome Guery and Grand Cru van de Rozenberg, made it to the jump-off this year as well but took a bit too much risk and had a refusal to end 8th.

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle Simon Delestre and Qlassic Bois Margot were one of three French pairs in the jump-off, and gave Pedro Junqueira Muylaert a real run for the money. Unfortunately, the penultimate vertical fell.

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle Wout-Jan van der Schans and Capetown finished 6th after having one rail in the jump-off.

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle Penelope Leprevost's 9-year-old Urano de Cartigny looks like one for the future!
