After FEI Nations Cup victories in Rome and St. Gallen, Italy is closing in on leading nation France in Europe Division 1. 32.5 points now separate the two teams, with France on 302.5 points and Italy on 270.
The full standings look as follows:
1. France - 302.5 points
2. Italy - 270 points
3. Sweden - 257.5 points
4. Germany - 230 points
5. Spain - 175 points
6. Switzerland - 160 points
7. Ireland - 155 points
8. Netherlands - 135 points
Seven Division 1 teams will qualify for the 2017 FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona in October.
