The 2016 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Europe Division 1 kicks off this week in Lummen, Belgium.
Belgium, Great Britain, Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic are competing in Europe Division 1 this year. There will be eight legs of the series, and in Lummen it is the hosts, Ireland, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic that are allocated to pick up points.

France, Great Britain and Switzerland will also field teams in Lummen, but are not eligible for points at this stage.
On the team for the hosts are Jerome Guery/Papillon Z, Jos Lansink/For Cento, Gudrun Patteet/Sea Coast Pebbles Z, Catherine Van Roosbroeck/Gautcho da Quinta and Karel Cox/Cor van de Wateringhoeve.
