French speed specialists Julien Epaillard and Sheriff de la Nutria LM (Diamant de Semilly SF x Papillon Rouge) took home their third victory for the week at CSIO5* Gijon on Saturday. Following up on yesterday's second win, the two took the top honors again: This time in the 1.45 Speed Final presented by Oquendo.

It went faster and faster in the class, and coming in towards the very end Epaillard pushed all competition to the side to post a clear round with the incredibly fast time of 64.88 seconds which was almost a second faster than runner-up Billy Twomey on Ardcolum Duke (Gypsy Duke x Clover Hill). Another French rider finished third: Harold Boisset on T'obetty du Domaine (Kashmir van't Schuttershof x Diams du Grasset) with a time of 66.10 seconds.
