All horses for Sunday’s individual final at the Longines FEI European Championships in Gothenburg passed today’s veterinary inspection.

The 25 best horses and riders qualify for the first round of Sunday's individual final, but Luciana Diniz’ Fit For Fun 13 (rank 15) wasn’t showed at today’s trot-up, neither was Roger Yves Bost’s Sangria du Coty (rank 21) nor Kevin Staut’s Reveur de Hurtebise HDC (rank 23). Instead Antonio Matos Almeida (POR) will compete with Epicor da Gandarinha (rank 33), Marie Longem (NOR) with Algorhythem (rank 35) as well as Christian Weier (LUX) with Global (rank 36).

Some nations have several riders ready for tomorrow’s individual final. Belgium has four riders and will be represented by their entire team consisting of Niels Bruynseels, Pieter Devos, Jerome Guery and Gregory Wathelet – while Germany has three: Marcus Ehning, Laura Klaphake and Philipp Weishaupt. This is also status quo for Ireland with Denis Lynch, Cian O’Connor and Shane Sweetnam  as well as Switzerland that has Romain Duguet, Martin Fuchs and Steve Guerdat lined up.
