Beezie Madden, who rode the fantastic Darry Lou, was the rider of the day. First she was double clear in the two rounds, and then she secured the win for the USA in a two-horses jump-off.

Pedro Veniss could have secured the win for Brazil by being clear in the second round. But with an unfortunate rail down on Quabri de l'Isle, Brazil in the end had to settle for second place.
