CSI5* Aachen 2017

Photo (c) Jenny Abrahamsson Laura Kraut and Zeremonie had a fantastic week in Aachen. Photo (c) Jenny Abrahamsson.

After riding double clear for Team USA in Thursday's Mercedes - Benz Nations Cup in Aachen, and also producing a beautiful double clear round in the Rolex Grand Prix on Sunday where she placed 4th with her wonderful 10-mare Zeremonie (Cero x Quick Star), the 'Preis des Bundesministers des Innern' or the Leading Rider of the Show-award was presented to Laura Kraut (USA).

The prize for the best horse of the show, the "Halla-Wanderpreis" went of course to Old Willow Farms' Zeremonie.

The 'Wanderpreis der Stadt Aachen' was presented to the winner of the Rolex Grand Prix, Gregory Wathelet, and the 'Preis der Bundeskanzlerin' – a prize to acknowledge great style – was presented to the young and talented Laura Klaphake (GER), who produced one of the only seven clears in the first round of the Rolex Grand Prix on Sunday and went on to finish 13th.
