Belgium’s Gregory Wathelet has dominated the Grand Prix classes at the tours this weekend, and won both the CSI2* 1.45 Grand Prix at the Costa del Sol Tour and the CSI2* 1.45 Grand Prix at the Sunshine Tour. Saturday’s win came on Papillon Z (Perhaps x Cassini I). Wathelet was two seconds faster in the jump-off than runner-up Pedro Veniss on Rissoa D’Ag Bois Margot (Quaprice Bois Margot x Artichaut). In third place followed Torben Köhlbrandt on Balou 660 (Balou du Rouet x Ramiro).

The following day, Wathelet went to the top in the Grand Prix at the Costa del Sol Tour as well. Riding Eldorado van het Vivjerhof (Thunder Van De Zuuthoeve x Omar) and Coree de Hus (Cornet Obolensky x Liberty Life) Wathelet took care of the top two podium places. Third place went to Doron Kuipers on Zucces (Gerlinus x Kenwood).
