CHIO Aachen 2015 - Rolex Grand Prix

Simon Delestre and Ryan des Hayettes.
Simon Delestre and his small chestnut gelding Ryan des Hayettes proved that size doesn't matter and were triple clear on their way to third place. All photos (c) Jenny Abrahamsson.

Ludger Beerbaum and Chiara.
Ludger Beerbaum and Chiara 222 also produced three clear rounds in the Grand Prix to end fourth.

Patrice Delaveau and Carinjo.
Pretty face Carinjo HDC in the rainy Aachen.

Luciana Diniz
Luciana Diniz and Fit for Fun were one out of ten combination on a clean sheet after the first round. They finally ended as number 13 with four faults in the second round.

Andre Thieme
A well deserved treat for Andre Thieme's Contanga 3. Ending as number seven with four faults after three rounds.

Beezie Madden
Beezie Madden and her WEG-partner Cortes C' with another good performance, but four faults from the first round placed them as number nine after two rounds.

Christian Ahlmann
Also Christian Ahlmann and Codex One had four faults from the first round to finally end as number ten.

Constant
Constant van Paesschen and Citizenguard Toscan de Sainte Hermelle picked up too many faults to qualify for the second round.

Lauren Hough
Another small horse with a big heart for jumping is Lauren Hough's ride Ohlala. The two qualified for the second round in Aachen and ended as number 15 with a total of 12 faults.

Daniel Deusser
We have seen a lot of these happy faces the past months and we like it very much. Congratulations to team Deusser on another great performance in the ring.

Kevin Staut
Kevin Staut and Reveur de Hurtebise HDC had a clear first round and four faults in the second round to end as number 14.

Edwina Tops-Alexander
Edwina Tops-Alexander and Ego van Orti had a rainy day in Aachen and did not qualify for the second round.

Kent Farrington
While Kent Farrington and Voyeur fought their way in to fifth place.

Jeroen Dubbeldam
What's with the face, Jeroen?

Jur Vrieling
Jur Vrieling has developed another horse for the big classes. Vdl Zirocco Blue N.O.P cleared the fences in both rounds, but picked up a total of two time faults - one from each round. Good enough for eighth place.
