Italy, France and Germany with Nations Cup wins at Future Champions in Hagen

With six penalty points, the Italians claimed victory in the young rider Nations Cup in Hagen – followed by the teams from the Netherlands and Belgium. Filippo Marco Bologni on Fixdesign Chopin (Quantum x Corofino I), Andrea Campagnaro with Antartica ter Doorn (Baloubet du Rouet), Elisa Baldazzi on Diablo (Dutch Capitol x Rex Z) and Francesca Arioldi with Loro Piana Sellia du Bessin (Nartago x Joly Jumper) were on the winning Italian team.

The French team won the junior Nations Cup. The victorious team consisted of Paul Delforge and Raybanne du Banney (Crown Z x Diamant de Semilly x Le Plantero), Amy De Ponnat with Onestar du Mesnil (Diamant de Semilly x Le Plantero), Elora Schmitter in the saddle of Chocoprince Z (Calvino Z x Lands River) and Camille Conde-Ferreira with Pirole De La Chatre (Flipper D'Elle). With a five penalty score, they were followed by the German team. The Irish team finished third with fourteen penalties.

In the children’s division, Germany went to the top. The home team managed to take the victory in a jump-off against the teams from Ireland and Great Britain. Beeke Carstensen, Hannes Ahlmann, Piet Menke and Calvin Böckmann all had faultless rounds, and they were more than six seconds faster than the second-best team from Ireland consisting of Jack Ryan, Harry Allan, Isabel Fitzpatrick and Ciaran Nallon. The third place went to the team from Great Britain.

Germany’s Maurice Tebbel won the young rider Grand Prix on Chacco’s Son (Chacco-Blue x Lancer III). He was followed by his compatriot Kaya Lüthi on Pret A Tout (Hiram Chambertin x Stew Boy) and Belgium’s Cassandra Braeckmans riding Bee Wonderful (Cagliostro x Indus 530). The top three were the only riders with double clear rounds.

France’s Camille Conde-Ferreira on Pirole de la Chatre won the junior Grand Prix after a double clear round, and a jump-off that saw the timers stop at 37.78 seconds. Dutch rider Kelly Jochem’s ended second on Zelena (Baloubet du Rouet x Ahorn) 1.69 behind on the time. Third place went to Russia’s Maria Madenova on Conquest 15 (Caretino x Quidam de Revel).

The children’s Grand Prix went to Italy’s Lorenzo Barbadoro on Cardinale di Villagana (Cardino x Caretino) with a clear round and a time of 37.70 seconds in the jump-off. Runner-up was home ride Beeke Carstensen on Venetzia (Levisto x Capitol I), who also was clear and stopped the clock on 39.06 seconds – a time she shared with France’s Elisa Mellec on Renarde Rumel (Dollar Dela Pierre).
