Jeroen Dubbeldam has the chance to become Reem Acra Best Athlete for a second consecutive year. The double World and European Champion won the title last year, and is yet again to be found on the short list for this year's edition of the FEI Awards.

The nomination reads: Last years’ winner Jeroen continued his golden streak into 2015 as he become only the third jumper in history to have won Olympic, World and European gold medals when he took home both Team and Individual Gold from the FEI European Championships in Aachen.

The annual FEI Awards Gala Evening takes place 13th of November i San Juan.
