Gregory Wathelet and Citizenguard Taalex.

New partnerships and talented youngsters could be spotted in Leipzig last weekend: Gregory Wathelet took over the ride on the 12-year-old stallion Citizenguard Taalex at the end of 2015, and this was his fifth international appearance with the former ride of Constant van Paesschen. Jessica Mendonza and Jonker van Sombeke.
Jonker van Sombeke is an exciting prospect for Great Britain's Jessica Mendoza; he is a 7-year-old by Toulon x Querlybet Hero that looks set for a bright future.

Simon Delestre and Quechua d'Emeraude.
France's Simon Delestre with his new ride Quechua d'Emeraude, a 12-year-old gelding by Ultimo van ter Moude x Voltaire previously seen under Luis Ferreira.

Marcus Ehning and Calanda.
The 8-year-old Calanda will be one to watch. The mare by Calido x Chasseur I ended third in the youngster final with Germany's Marcus Ehning in the saddle.

Mario Stevens and Banana Pancake
The coolest name: Banana Pancake. The 10-year-old gelding did his first international show with German rider Mario Stevens.

Eva Bitter and C'est beau.
Germany's Eva Bitter and the lovely 8-year-old C'est beau by Calido x Grannus.

Kevin Staut and Bleu Bayou.
Kevin Staut and Bleu Bayou made their debut in Stuttgart in November, and the 10-year-old Berlin-son has over the last month been stepped up to 1.50 level by the French rider.

Hansi Dreher and Pacavello.
Germany's Hansi Dreher on the impressive 8-year-old Perigueux-son Pacavello.

Dermott Lennon and Fleur IV.
Ireland's Dermott Lennon and Fleur IV have been coupled up lately; the mare has previously been competed by Canada's Rebecca McGoldrick.

Henrik von Eckermann and Catover.
Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann and the 7-year-old Catoki-son Catover ended 5th in the youngster tour final.

Harrie Smolders and Apollonia 23.
Harrie Smolders has lately been the one showing Audrey Coulter's Apollonia 23, a mare that previously was seen under Luciana Diniz and before that under Stefanie Bistan.

Markus Renzel and Blacky.
This black beauty won the youngster tour final with German rider Markus Renzel in the saddle; the 8-year-old Blacky by Balou du Rouet x Carte d'Or.

Denis Lynch and Garkus van het Indihof
Denis Lynch did his second show with the 10-year-old Garkus van het Indihof, that has been seen under several different riders before.
