Felix Hassmann has been an unstoppable force at the CSI3* event in Nörten-Hardenberg this weekend. The German rider won both Friday and Saturday's feature classes, and on Sunday he continued his domination to win the Grand Prix and the prestigious Golden Whip of Nörten-Hardenberg.

Riding the 11-year-old Cayenne WZ (Claudio x Ramirado), Felix moved on to the jump-off as one of only five riders. Only three of them managed to repeat their clear rounds against the clock, and once again it was Hassmann that proved to be the fastest stopping the clock on 33.88 seconds. “The course of the first round was a very demanding one, we saw a lot of faults especially at the triple combination and the oxer right after, so it didn't look like we would get a lot of clear rounds,” said Felix Hassmann afterwards. “I probably won the jump-off over the first jumps, I was really fast there."

There were three more German riders that followed on the result list; Jens Baackmann was 1.3 seconds behind on Carmen (Cornet Obolensky Contender) to finish as runner-up while third place went to Geritt Nieberg on Contagio (Colman x Lordanos) who had the final double clear.

Markus Brinkmann and Pikeur Dylon (Diamant de Semilly x Carry) finished fourth with four faults in the jump-off, and then followed Ireland's Cian O'Connor on Sam du Challois (Quaprice Boimargot Quincy x Adam IV*de Cote d'Or).

"I am very happy with the way all of my horses jumped the entire weekend. Cayenne has been in a great form for the last weeks, he won Friday's big class and had some great results throughout the last shows,” said the winner to World of Showjumping. “This was his very first Grand Prix win. He's a super careful horse and won quite some classes in the past, so I'm very thankful to the owner for getting to ride a horse like him. His next show will be the German Championships along with my young mare Balance.”
