Thank you...

Last week it was announced: At the age of 18, Vivant vd Heffinck (Fuego du Prelet x Landino) is being retired from the sport. The stallion has had huge success on the international showjumping scene: With Australia's Chris Chugg in the saddle, Vivant jumped at the 2010 World Championships in Kentucky where the pair ended 21st individually. Chugg and Vivant also went to the 2010 World Cup Finals in Geneva, where they finished 7th overall. In 2012, Vivant competed at the Olympic Games in London with Katharina Offel and later went on to the 2014 World Championships with Cassio Rivetti to end 8th individually. At last year's Europeans, Vivant was again in action with Rivetti. Vivant has also contributed to several Nations Cup wins for Ukraine; both with Offel and Rivetti. Together with Offel, Vivant also won the 2012 Selection Trials for the Olympic Games in Aachen. This is our tribute to a very, very special horse that has had a huge impact on Chugg, Offel and Rivetti's careers. All photos (c) Jenny Abrahamsson.
