The 17-year-old American rider Lucy Deslauriers scored another victory at the CSI3*-W International Bromont ahead of 25 participants on Friday, when she went to the top in the 1.50 Assante Classic.

Course designer Guilherme Jorge once again created an excellent course for the participating riders, as 25 horse and rider combinations lined up for the class and nine of those qualified for the second round. Experienced rider Leslie Howard led Donna Speciale (Cavalier x Concorde), an only 8-year-old mare, with master hands and as the second pair on the course they were the first to complete a clear round. The jump-off was quickly confirmed as Fernando Martinez (MEX), Ali Wolff (USA), Lauren Tisbo (USA), Richie Moloney (IRL), Lucy Deslauriers (USA) and Peter Leone (USA) successfully get through the first round.

With her young horse, Leslie Howard clocked in a time of 39.94 seconds in the jump-off leaving the door opened for two other riders: Lucy Deslauriers and Ali Wolff.

After a seventh place in the Québec Original opening event, Deslauriers gave it her all. With an unbeatable time of 37.96 seconds, Lucy once again entered the winner's circle at the International Bromont with Hester (Wandor van de Mispelaere x Palestro vd Begijnakker) - for the third time in two years. Runner-up was Ali Wolff on Casall (Casall x Capitol I) while Howard finished third.

Thursday's 1.50 Québec Original Open Welcome saw three US riders on top as well; Andrew Ramsey won the class on Stranger (Stakkato x Cheenook) with a time 0.64 seconds faster than that of Andrew Welles aboard Brindis Bogibo (Grand Pilot I) while Ali Wollf and Caya (Carolus I x Lancer II) finished third
