Otto Becker has renewed his contract with the German Equestrian Federation, and will remain in his position as Chef d’Equipe for the next four years. Becker has since 2009 been responsible for the training and championship support of the German elite riders.

In addition to Becker, the coaching staff of the German jumping team up until 2020 will consist of Heinrich-Hermann Engemann, Peter Teeuwen and Eberhard Seemann.
