Cassio Rivetti's 2016 Olympic ride Fine Fleur du Marais has been sold to Switzerland.

The new owner of the 11-year-old mare by Toulon x Cento is Thomas Straumann, father of Swiss rider Flaminia Straumann. However, it will not be Flaminia riding the grey mare as the Aargauer Zeitung writes that the 62-year-old Walter Gabathuler will be the one taking over the reins.

Straumann has also decided to support Gabathuler with the 9-year-old Casall-son Silver Surfer 2.

This year, Fine Fleur du Marais recorded several top results with Rivetti: She won the CSI3* Grand Prix in Arezzo, and was on the winning Nations Cup team in Sopot where she also finished fourth in the CSIO5* Grand Prix before she went on to jump at the Olympic Games for Ukraine.
