Tina Yates and her husband Craig own and operate Highpoint Farm LLC, which is based in Wellington, Florida for the winter months and San Juan Capistrano, California for the summer months. Tina is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona and Craig is from Huddersfield, England. Currently they have a fantastic group of owners, sponsors, and horses; 16 horses in training – anything from young horses to 1.60 horses.

“I wouldn't say we had any problems, but with the amount of showing and traveling we do we knew we had to take some type of preventative measure to help the horses with stress,” Tina tells about the reasons behind finding a product like Equine 74 Gastric. “We didn't have issues; we were trying to prevent issues from occurring due to the upcoming show schedule.”

“Previously we were using Gastroguard mainly with horses we were certain had ulcers that needed treating. My husband whom is from England and has worked in Europe for many years knew of Equine 74 Gastric. As soon as he read that it was available in the States, he contacted Anita from Equine Gastric 74 to arrange a meeting to discuss the product,” Tina tells.

“We started feeding through the recommendation of Anita and after a period of time we assessed each individual horse and how they were responding to the supplement. With some horses we felt there was a significant weight gain attributed to the supplement, so with further discussions we reduced their feeding by 50%. We feed the supplement with their morning and evening feed,” Tina explains.

After using Equine 74 Gastric for a while, Tina and her team noticed a difference in their horses. “We noticed quite a bit of difference in the horses around the 2-4 week range of starting the supplement. We noticed the horses that were anxious or nervous were becoming quite calm and relaxed. The horses that were girthy became less grumpy and the few that were tucked up became untucked up.  We show and travel on a consistent basis, so having a supplement to feed daily to eliminate and control ulcers and help gut control is key,” Tina says.

Tina would recommend Equine 74 Gastric to anyone with a busy schedule. “Anyone who may find inconsistency in their horses’ performance due to stress. So horses that are consistently showing, traveling, stressed, anxious, or nervous will benefit from Equine 74 Gastric,” Tina concludes.
