Dutch rider Ruben Romp has announced that his top horse Teavanta II C Z has been sold to Ukraine's Alexander Onischenko.
Romp and the 12-year-old Zangersheide-mare by Treasure x Ahorn were a part of the Dutch team at the European Championships in Gothenburg last month, and have had a good season with a five-star Nations Cup win in Falsterbo and a three-star Grand Prix victory in Oliva back in April. The two were also second in the five-star Longines King George V Gold Cup at Hickstead in July.
On his Facebook-page, Romp writes: "Today I have to say good bye to Tea. Thank you so much Tea, for all that you've done for me! I want to thank especially Eric Berkhof and family Coppes for the opportunity to ride her over the last 2 years. Thanks to the team for all results and memories! And I wish Alexander Onischenko all the best with this fantastic horse!"
