Ben Maher makes it a win in Saturday's feature class at the International Longines Horse Show of Lausanne

They were second yesterday, and today they went all the way to the top: Ben Maher (GBR) and the 10-year-old Tipsy du Terral (Toulon x Quat'sous) won Saturday's 1.50m Prix International Jumping Riders Club presented by DEC Group at the CSI5* International Longines Horse Show of Lausanne. 

Besting a field of 35 riders, Maher was the fastest in the second phase of this Longines Ranking class to stop the clock at 28.55 seconds. Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) took the runner-up position with a time of 30.26 seconds on the 9-year-old mare Dana Blue (Mr. Blue x Hemmingway), while home hero Martin Fuchs (SUI) ended third on Chica B Z (Canturano x Berlin) in 30.99 seconds. After their win yesterday, Harrie Smolders (NED) and Zinius (Nabab de Reve x Kannan) were once again in the ribbons to end fourth while Simon Delestre (FRA) took fifth place with Gain Line (Stolzenberg x Raphael).

The 1.45m evening class presented by Canton de Vaud went to Luca Moneta (ITA) on the 16-year-old gelding Connery (Cordobes II x Polydor). Paul Estermann (SUI) was best for the hosts in this Longines Ranking class to end second on Curtis Sitte (Ugano Sitte x Chellano Z), with over three seconds separating him from Moneta. Third place went to Henrik von Eckermann on Cantinero (Cento x Cash).
