The Holsteiner stallion licensing and elite riding horse auction is just around the corner. From 2 – 4 November, Neumüster is to take centre stage for horse enthusiasts again.
If you are looking for an equine partner for breeding and sports purposes, you don’t have to look any further, because the Holsteiner auction offers an excellent opportunity to find your personal Holsteiner.
Quite a few diamonds in the rough discovered in the course of this long-established event have seen a meteoric rise to success since, the most recent example being, among others, the licensed stallion Quiwitino W.Z., who came second in the World 5-yr-old show jumping horse Championships in Lanaken under Felix Haßmann. A son of TB stallion Water Dance, Wild Wave, who caused quite a splash under Michael Jung at Donaueschingen is of the same age.
For the first time you can find videos of the colts to be put up for sale on the Holsteiner Verband website and may also have the colts’ x-rays examined by your vet online.
38 highly talented riding horses vet-checked for soundness have made it into this year’s elite riding horse collection. A closer look at this selection not only reveals several high-quality three- and four-year-old diamonds in the rough but also numerous horses already boasting impressive sport horse performance, having successfully competed in young horse classes, young horse championships or even international youngster tours or qualified to the National Championships.
Numerous successful sport horses discovered at the elite riding horse auction confirm that the lots’ quality is not by coincidence. Like for example Calmond by Clarimo-Ramiro’s Son II, who already boasts Grand Prix results under the saddle of Ireland’s Nations Cup rider Richard Howley. Just 8-year-old mare Camalita by Cracker Jack-Quinar has already been attracting the attention of showjumping buffs as well, as she has already taken home front placings in 1.50 m classes under her rider Laura Klaphake.
The first public presentation of the auction horses is at Elmshorn on 17 October 2017, with ample opportunity to get to know and try out the horses in the relaxed Elmshorn atmosphere until 28 October.
For information about the auction horses or in order to arrange an individual try-out session do not hesitate to contact the Holsteiner Verband sales team anytime.
