Home riders dominated in Friday's feature class at the CSI4* event in Rouen, France with Julien Gonin and Julien Epaillard on top.

No less than 84 riders had lined up in this Longines Ranking competition, and out of these 22 went clear in the first round to move on against the clock. There, it was Gonin and the 11-year-old gelding Soleil de Cornu CH (Qredo de Paulstra x Le Tot de Semilly) that were the fastest stopping the clock at 34.35 seconds. Only 0.04 behind followed speed demon Julien Epaillard on Cristallo A LM (Casall x Corofino I), to take care of the runner-up position.

Third was Belgium's Christophe Vanderhasselt on Identity Vitseroel (Air Jordan Z x Darco) with the time of 35.07, while Sweden's Irma Karlsson finished fourth on Chacconu (Chacco-Blue x Perhaps van het Molenvondel) and Great Britain's Jessica Mendoza fifth on Toy Boy (breeding unknown).
