Marlon Zanotelli (BRA) and the 10-year-old mare Celena VDL (Mr. Blue x Chin Chin) recorded another big win for the season in Sunday's CSI4* Grand Prix of Samorin presented by the X-Bionic Sphere.

"I'm very happy, I mean winning the Grand Prix at a show like this is the absolute," said Zanotelli.

The 1.60m Grand Prix had 42 riders in it, and sixteen of them produced clears to move on to the jump-off. There Zanotelli was the fastest, stopping the clock at 37.54 seconds. In 38.77 seconds followed Harrie Smolders (NED) on Zinius (Nabab de Reve x Kannan), the winners of Friday's feature class, while third place went to Joao Victor Castro (BRA) on Quentin PJ (Quidam de Revel x Escudo 19) with a time of 40.15 in the jump-off.

Bertram Allen (IRL) finished fourth on Hector van d'Abdijhoeve (Cabrio van de Heffinck x Utrillo van de Heffinck), and Werner Muff (SUI) fifth on Daimler (Canturano x Lupicor) – both double clear.

"The facility is amazing, I mean it is one of the best facilities in the whole world and also with such a great organization and with Mr. Denis Monticolo it's a great pleasure for all of us during the whole weekend," commented the winner about the X-Bionic Sphere. "I was really surprised with the amount of spectators, all supporting and cheering up. It gave us lot of motivation."
