The Rolex Grand Prix of Geneva in images

Last weekend, it was time for one of the real highlights of the season: CHI Geneva, the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final and the Rolex Grand Prix of Geneva. Here are some of the highlights from the Grand Prix, that showcased the sport at its very best. All photos (c) Jenny Abrahamsson.

An amazing trio leaving the ring after their winning jump-off: Kent Farrington, Denise Moriarty and Gazelle!

Cian O'Connor borrowed his student Lillie Keenan's Fibonacci for the Rolex Grand Prix and he couldn't stop praising the gelding after his clear round. The two eventually ended 5th.

Full focus for Harrie Smolders, that keeps on impressing with Don VHP Z.

After one unlucky time fault in the first round, last year's winners Pedro Veniss and Quabri de I'Isle ended 7th.

Another one who got one time fault in the first round was Laura Kraut with Confu, to take the 6th place.

Bryan Balsiger was placed with Clouzot de Lassus after four faults.

It was a disappointed Eric Lamaze who recorded four faults with Fine Lady 5, still being the fastest on those on a score of a pole down taking the 8th place.

Four faults was also the result for Kevin Staut and Vendome d'Anchat HDC.

Harrie Smolders and Don VHP Z have had an amazing year, and jumped double clear again to take fourth place.

Full speed for Jerome Guery with Grand Cru van de Rozenberg, but with four faults they had to settle for 15th place.

Mark Mcauley ended 10th with Miebello.

Mr. Eventing - Michael Jung - illustrated that he is very competitive also on the highest level of showjumping. With four faults in the first round riding Fischersolution he ended 11th in the prestigious class.

Peder Fredricson had a great weekend and after ending 3rd in the Top 10 Final with H&M Christian K, the two of them were 9th in the Grand Prix.

Simon Delestre and Hermes Ryan had to settle for 13th place after four faults in the first round.

Steve Guerdat was not happy after having the a-element of the very last double down with Bianca. With four faults and not such a fast time he ended just outside the placings.
