Once again it was Felix Hassmann (GER) that took a speedy win – this time in the 1,45m ‘Trophée Bordeaux Metropole’ at Jumping Bordeaux – riding SL Brazonado (Sl Baluarte x Silvestre).

Olivier Robert (FRA) with Forest Gump (Forsyth x Feuerwerk) – as no. one to go – did a very fast round in 56,26 seconds and held on to the lead for almost the whole class. It was first when Hassmann entered the ring as no. 34, second-last-to-go, that Robert’s time was beaten and he had to settle for the runner-up position.

Third place went to Jur Vrieling (NED) with Dallas VDL (Douglas x Heartbreaker) ahead of Gregory Wathelet (BEL) with Iphigeneia de Muze (Erco van T Roosakker x For Pleasure) and Mark McAuley (IRL) with Valentino Tuiliere (Diamant de Semilly x Silvio).
