Roger-Yves Bost's Olympic team gold medalist Sydney Une Prince has been sold, and the new rider will be USA's Katie Dinan.

"I could not be more excited to welcome Sydney to our stable, and I am so grateful to those that have made that possible," Katie says to World of Showjumping. "Sydney has shown unbelievable quality and fighting spirit in her career with Bosty, and I look forward to building our partnership together. I will do my best to do justice to such an amazing mare."

The 12-year-old mare by Baloubet du Rouet x Alfa d'Elle won the team gold for France at the Olympic Games in Rio, and has won the 2016 World Cup in Mechelen and the 2017 World Cup in Madrid, as well as recording major five-star wins at venues such as Geneva and Lausanne.

On his official Facebook page, Bost states: "Thank you, thank you my Sydney for everything you have given. To me, to Claude who has always been there for you, to François Badeel who allowed us to form this couple, to Philippe Guerdat who believed in you, in us, to our beautiful Olympic gold medal with the French team. Today a page turns and I wish you Sydney much success with your new rider. You'll have a special place among the most important horses in my life. Thank you."
