It was one of the veterans in the sport that took home the top honours in Sunday's SAP-Prize at CHIO Aachen, as the 60-year-old Margie Goldstein-Engle (USA) won aboard Dicas (Diarado x Cassini I).
The 1.45m class against the clock had 32 horse-and-rider combinations in it, but it was Goldstein-Engle that was the fastest with her time of 65.97 seconds. Following in runner-up position was home rider Michael Kölz (GER) on Fst Dipylon (Dinglinger x Lavall) in 68.10 seconds, while third place went to Lorenzo De Luca (ITA) on Limestone Grey (Try-Time x breeding unknown) in 69.84 seconds. Pedro Veniss (BRA) finished fourth with For Felicila (For Pleasure x Espri), and Guido Klatte Jr. (GER) fifth on Qinghai (Quidam de Revel x Cordalme).
