Zinius stays as no. one on the WBFSH Rolex World Ranking List

The 14-year-old KWPN gelding Zinius (Nabab de Reve x Kannan) holds on as no. one on the latest WBFSH Rolex World Ranking List for breeders of jumping horses.

With 1400 points, Zinius – that is bred by Mario Everse and competed by Harrie Smolders – tops the ranking for a fifth consecutive month, and is followed by Eric Lamaze’s Fine Lady 5 (Forsyth FRH x Drosselklang II) on 1360 points. Fine Lady 5 is a 14-year-old Hannoveraner mare bred by Wilhelm Leymann. 

Daniel Deusser’s 10-year-old Zangersheide stallion Tobago Z (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve x Mr. Blue) follows as rank three, down from rank two last month, with 1293 points. Tobago Z is bred by Jonas Bellemans.

New as number four is Explosion W (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet). The 9-year-old KWPN gelding is bred by Willy Wijnen, and is ridden by Ben Maher. Peder Fredricson’s Hansson WL (Hip Hop x Iowa), Swedish bred by Walltorps Lantbruks AB, follows in fifth place with 1225 points.

On the studbook ranking, KWPN keeps its top rank with Zinius, Explosion W and California (L'Esprit x Libero H) as their three best representatives. With 6963 points, the KWPN is followed by BWP on 6204 points with H&M Harley vd Bisschop (Dulf van den Bisschop x Coronado), Bull Run’s Faustino de Tili (Berlin x Udarco) and Gancia de Muze (Malito de Reve x Nimmerdor) as their three top ambassadors. 

Royce (Cafe Au Lait x Grandilot), Balou Rubin R (Balou du Rouet x Couleur Rubin) and Chacanno (Chacco-Blue x Kannan) put Oldenburg-International third as their three highest ranked horses.
