For the first edition of the CSI5* Waregem Horse Week, that takes place this week, the top of the world has signed in to compete in Belgium's horse city. 

World number one Harrie Smolders (NED) will compete alongside Kevin Staut (FRA), Kent Farrington (USA), Luciana Diniz (POR), Eric Lamaze (CAN), Ludger Beerbaum (GER) and Michael Whitaker (GBR) to mention some of the many famous names on the entry list for the five-star competitions. 

Belgian home heroes such as Niels Bruynseels, Pieter Devos, Gregory Wathelet, Nicola and Oliver Philippaerts will also be in action.
