The Woodland's International Sales team has announced the sale of Mumbai van de Moerhoeve (Diamant de Semilly x Nabab de Reve), as Ludger Beerbaum has invested in half of the grey 7-year-old stallion. Mumbai van de Moerhoeve was presented at the Woodland's auction in 2016 as a 4-year-old, but could not convince the buyers back then. However, the team, consisting of Niels Bruynseels, Nick Vrins, Nick van Turnhout and Stijn van Campenhout, was so persuaded by the stallion's qualities that they decided to purchase him theirselves.

His father Diamant de Semilly has been leading the WBFSH ranking for years while his dam Ischgl de Muze (Nabab de Reve) jumped internationally herself under the saddle of Joe Clee. She is, in turn, a daughter of VDL Groep Eureka (Chin Chin), who won the Grand Prix of Valkenswaard with Maikel Van der Vleuten. Mumbai van de Moerhoeve himself jumped to a 6th place in the PAVO Stallion Competition after four out of four clear rounds. With Nick Vrins in the saddle, he also jumped three days double clear during CSIYH* Bonheiden and was able to excite round after round during CSIYH* Valkenswaard.

"Mumbai has recently been approved for Hannover and Westfalen and is now moving to Hengstenstation Beerbaum in Riesenbeck," explains Niels Bruynseels. "They will take on both the sportive management and the coverages. He remains available through fresh and frozen semen (...) We look forward to the development of this stallion!“
