The 10-year-old mare Faye Blue (Mr. Blue x Cardento) has joined Sergio Alvarez Moya’s team of horses. The Spanish rider will make his first international appearance with the mare at the CSI5* show in Basel this week. 

“My brother discovered Faye Blue at a national show in Spain,” Sergio tells World of Showjumping. “I tried her, and decided to buy her. I think she is a very smart horse with a great attitude. Although she has not jumped in the bigger classes yet, I think she has the right qualities to adjust quickly to the higher level. Time will show how far we get.”
