This week, Piergiorgio Bucci announced the retirement of the now 16-year-old stallion Casallo Z (Casall x Carthago Z). 

Together the pair had plenty of success. They were on the winning Italian Nations Cup team in Rome in 2017 and in Dublin in 2016, won the CSI5* LGCT Grand Prix in Estoril in 2016 and has podium finishes in five-star Grand Prix classes in Antwerp, Brussels and Monte Carlo to look back at. They also represented Italy at the European Championships in Herning in 2013.

Casallo Z will now focus on his breeding career.
