Dutch rider Henk van de Pol and Looyman Z (Numero Uno x Wellington) topped Sunday's CSI2* Grand Prix in Vejer de la Frontera Spain.
In the jump-off, van de Pol was 0.33 seconds faster than Pedro Veniss on Böckmann’s Lord Pezi Junior (Lord Pezi x Quattro B) – leaving the Brazilian rider to runner-up position. Ten of the 43 horse-and-rider combinations moved on to the jump-off, and the third place went to home rider Mariano Martinez Bastida on Belano vd Wijnhoeve Z (Berlin x Darco) – who was only 0.01 seconds behind Veniss.
Veniss also ended fourth in the class, this time riding Balada de Colores (Baloubet du Rouet x Couleur Rubin) while fifth place went to Robin Bril on Dizzy Lizzy (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve x Phin Phin).
