Daniel Deusser (GER) is back in the number one spot on the Longines Ranking. Deusser takes over at the top with a total of 3385 points.

Deusser was sitting second on the previous ranking, just 25 points behind Steve Guerdat (SUI) who has been world no. one since February 2020. Guerdat has a total of 3225 points on this month’s ranking, which counts results from 1st of June 2019 to 31st of May 2021.

It's not the first time Deusser tops the world ranking. In 2017, he took over the number one spot from Christian Ahlmann (GER) and in 2015 he broke the 16-month reign of Scott Brash (GBR).

Martin Fuchs (SUI) stays as rank three on 3101 points, while Ben Maher (GBR) is up from rank five to rank four with 3008 points. Kent Farrington (USA) moves up from rank seven to five, Scott Brash (GBR) from rank eight to six while Peder Fredricson (SWE) has dropped from rank four to seven. Darragh Kenny (IRL) goes up from rank ten to eight, while McLain Ward (USA) and Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) go into the Top 10 as rank nine and ten – coming from rank twelve and thirteen respectively.

As of this month, the defreezing of the Longines Ranking has started following the implementation of the Covid-19 policy at the end of March last year. This month’s ranking is calculated over a period of 24 months. As of now, each monthly calculated ranking will have a shift of two months – meaning a 12-month regular ranking period is expected with ranking no. 251 which will be calculated at the beginning of December 2021.
