Close-Up: Fit for Fun

Friday, 14 October 2016

She is one of the favorites on the showjumping circuit: The crowds love Fit for Fun. The 12-year-old mare by For Pleasure x Fabriano, started her career under her co-owner Ralf Jünger before Luciana took over the reins in 2012 to bring Fit for Fun to the highest level of the sport. The two have won some of the biggest Grand Prix competitions in the world: The CSI5* Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha and the CSI5* Grand Prix of Basel in 2015, as well as the CSI5* Grand Prix of Al Rayyan and the CSI5* Grand Prix of Rotterdam in 2016.

"Fit For Fun, also called Fitti, is my 'pretty girl'," writes Luciana on her website when describing Fit for Fun. "She is simply beautiful and downright magic! Fit for Fun bears her name for good reason. It is pure pleasure to ride her."

Fit for Fun is not only a successful sport horse, she already produced two offspring: The 8-year-old Camargo (by Canturo) and the 7-year-old Champ of Fun (by C-Trenton Z).
