Winningmood was born on the 23rd of April 1999.
Winningmood is by the famous stallion Darco, and out of the Cassini-mare N.Unellie.
Winningmood was bred by Harrie Theeuwes at Stal Theeuwes, but was born at Stoeterij Arenberg - hence his original name Winningmood van de Arenberg.
Winningmood was later sold to Ludo Philippaerts, who was the rider of his famous father Darco.
With Ludo in the saddle, Winningmood won the 2008 World Cup in Mechelen and went on to compete at the 2009 World Cup Finals.
After the World Cup Finals in 2009, Winningmood was sold to Edouard de Rothschild and Luciana Diniz took over the ride on the stallion.
With Luciana, Winningmood competed at the 2009 European Championships in Windsor, the 2011 European Championships in Madrid and the 2013 European Championships in Herning.
Winningmood has also competed at two more World Cup Finals; in 2010 and 2011 - and in 2010 he finished 4th.
He has taken numerous wins with Diniz in the saddle and has countless of podium finishes. This year at the age of 16 Winningmood has been at his very best to take victories in the LGCT Grand Prix classes in Madrid and Vienna.
On her website, Luciana describes “Winni Boy” as a fighter. "He has an unconditional will to win and would do everything for me. He is very strong, but also has a very sensitive character," Diniz writes.
Winningmood has certainly lived up to his name during his entire career!
