Alrajhi wins the World Cup qualifier in Amman

Sunday, 01 November 2015
CSI2*-W Amman 2015

Longines

The 22-year-old Abdulrahman Alrajhi from Saudi Arabia took the win in the CSI2* World Cup qualifier in Amman, Jordan. He was riding the BWP gelding Chilli Pepper van de Helle (Cumano BD x Sheyenne de Baugy) to a double clear round and ended the round two on 51,25 seconds - 6,5 seconds faster than second placed Moustafa Elhussein with Wato (Manhattan x Fedor) from Egypt. The top two riders were the only ones that managed to produce double clear rounds

Mohamed Taher Zeyada from Egypt followed with For Pleasure (Fly High) in third, while Mohd Osama El Borai with Dina (Kannan x Darco) ended fourth - both with four faults in the second round.

Last week it was already a World Cup qualifier at the CSI1* show in Amman, Jordan and that class was won by Ahmed Yehia Hafez from Egypt riding Levinio 3 (Lord Sinclair I x Polydor) - as the only double clear of the class. As the fastest four faulters Mohamed Talaat with Beltone Partner (Lancelot x Triton) followed in second ahead of Nasouh Kayali with Adette (Voltaire x Lux). Once again Mohd Osama El Borai ended in fourth riding Dina (Kannan x Darco).
